Experience of Principals and Associates at NDMC

Experience of the Principals and Associates at the Natioanal Diamond Mining Company (NDMC) included supervision of plant and mining operations, mine planning, production supervision and the management of an extensive mining property area. Projects undertaken included:

• Design of a bridge for a major river crossing for 35 ton to 40 ton haulage equipment.
• Design and construction of 20 miles of haulage roads.
• Design and construction of major river diversions.
• A major expansion programme involving a seventy percent increase in the volume mined and a change in the existing processing technique from diamond pan plants to a modern heavy mineral separation method.
• Setting up of a planning and control system in the mining department to enable effective budgeting and financial monitoring to formulate the forward strategies of the mine.
